Transactions/Due Diligence

The Firm represents clients in transactional matters, sales and acquisitions related to real property and assets.  The Firm also provides due diligence reviews related to its areas of practice for clients involved in transactions.  Typically due diligence involves identifying and reviewing permits, leases, rights-of-way, water rights and similar appurtenances to determine whether they are adequate for the continued operation and viability of the assets or property being conveyed, whether they are in good standing, whether there are outstanding compliance issues, and whether they are transferable to a new owner.

The Firm also assists out-of-state transactional, M&A  and in-house counsel with state-specific due diligence reviews as part of large transactions involving multiple regulatory approvals and permits.
